Ha ha!!! I love this post because I love hamburgers. Some folks will try to tell us hamburgers are not healthy but ... meat, bread, veggies ... how can it be all bad? I'm afraid if it is true ... You are what you eat ... I may be largely hamburger. :-) Anyway, it is difficult for me to say who makes my favorite hamburger. Currently, I don't have a place like Pete's ... a small, custom shop. I had one of those when I was growing up, it was called Topsy's. The guy who owned it was a cook who retired from the US Navy. His burger was simple but delicious: meat, lettuce, american cheese, Kraft's thousand island dressing, and a buttered bun. I kept bugging him about what the dressing was ... it was supposed to be a secret ... he finally told me. Sometimes I light up my charcoal grill and fix a Topsy burger for lunch. It is special! :-) Have a great week ahead!John's Islandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03618219887687125402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376485905771945684.post-58659079331769237532015-08-02T22:05:56.058-05:002015-08-02T22:05:56.058-05:00It was good!It was good!Bethany Carsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06583914285773271009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376485905771945684.post-77721308701666561752015-08-02T17:24:50.134-05:002015-08-02T17:24:50.134-05:00Ha!
