Anni from Hootin' Anni's Chronicles has given a Mission Impossible challenge at her blog: find your first initial in a natural state and then link-up with her within the next 2 weeks. I thought finding a "B" would be a challenge, but I've watched the task force at work enough times to know that no mission is impossible.
Sample 1: The orange sections on the edge of the outer wing form Bs when looked at two at a time.
Sample 2: This butterfly's right wings form a B if you trace the outlines and count the body as the stem.
Sample 3: Here's a "B" hard at work.
Mission accomplished! Be sure to join the fun with Anni's Mission Impossible task force! But remember, should you be caught, the secretary (is that Anni?!) will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time..." --Ecclesiastes 3:11
What an eye for details. Here I thought it was just a "B"eautiful "B"utterfly! Shows what I know. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you Sylvia!
DeleteHi Bethany, Oh boy, Anni has gotten something started now! :-) And you have already met the challenge. (True chess-master style!) OK, do you think finding a "J" is going to be easy? Send me any hints please. Can I use an old postcard? ... I don't think that would be a "natural state" .... OK, gotta go look at the archive for flower pics! :-) Have an excellent day! John
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job finding the J!
Deleteyou are right and i must be more creative in my search for a D, it should be easier than a B!!!!!

DeleteVery beautiful photo and a nice observation, Bethany!
ReplyDeleteHave a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
You too!
DeleteThat is perfect, Bethany! You got it just right and saw beyond what was right in front of you to spot B's that were not immediately apparent. Great job- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI need to keep in practice on that--with the political campaigns coming up this fall we'll all need to be looking past the obvious of what the politicians say to what they actually do.
DeleteThat's amazing! You defintely have a knack for thinking outside of the box. I never would have been able to come up with something as ingenious as that.
ReplyDeletexoxo Morning
I'm sure you could ;)
DeleteGood for you! Good thinking on this. now I better keep my eyes open for an M!
ReplyDeleteAll the best!
DeleteOh, your photos are s gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLoved the post, Bravo Bethany!
Thanks Margie!
DeleteGood eye Bethany!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking someone with the initial Q or G might find this to be quite a challenge... Still as you say "no mission is impossible"!
Q would be a hard one! My middle initial is G, so I was thinking about that one earlier...I bet it could be found, though perhaps not with as much definition as would be preferable.
DeleteGreat job Bethany -- and I love your photos too!
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day to you:)
Blessings, Aimee
God bless!
DeleteBeautiful photos...and well done, Bethany!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteNice - I found a website once where a per some was trying to find every letter of the alphabet like this - he had about 1/2 of them done.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne.

ReplyDeleteMy 60s-70s series watching is finally paying off. ;)
Delete"B" would normally be thought of as a tough one, but you really demonstrated the truth of a perceptive eye and a lot of determination. Wonderful job, Bethany! Your photography is outstanding as well!

ReplyDeleteYou are just too clever. I though about how hard it would be to find a B as I was looking for my relatively simple A. But you did it and I am humbled :)
